Picking Out An Eye-Clean SI2 Diamond From Brian Gavin Diamonds

I am so happy I stumbled upon your article! For a while I have been advising friends that the better the cut of a diamond, you can get away with lesser color, clarity, size, etc. I get so irritated when people go for size and get huge ugly diamonds. What a waste! But what struck me in your article is when you said that not all ideal cuts are created equal. That is how I was referred to Brian Gavin Diamonds from ODBA.

I would like you recommendation as to what I should look for. I have a setting that can accommodate a 0.9oct – 1.10ct diamond and I have a budget of  around $6000. The side-stones in the ring are F/G color. What do you advise? What will give me the most sparkle for the dollar?
