I’m about to pull the trigger on the following flawless diamond:
On paper, this stone looks amazing. My question however, is how does the stone look to you? I am unable to get ASET images for this particular stone. To me, the video looks great – but then again I don’t know exactly what I am looking for. It appears to not have windowing or extinction issues, but are there other problems that pop out to you in the video?
Finally, would you recommend I spend my budget differently to get a bigger stone?
Thank you for your time!
That 1.22ct F Flawless emerald diamond that you have chosen is indeed amazing!!!
The proportions are great and the magnified HD video and image all confirm that this diamond has excellent light return and balanced contrast. Very very nice choice. 😉
The length/width ratio of this emerald cut diamond is 1.44 which is great; I recommend a length/width range between 1.30 – 1.75. I also prefer a table between 60 – 65% and a depth between 60 – 67%. This diamond’s table is 62% and it’s depth is 64.5% which is fantastic. The girdle is slightly thick and the stone has no fluorescence. Overall, this diamond is not only exceedingly rare but also has been cut very very well. You will be very pleased with this choice.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions! I think this is an exceptional diamond find, so very well done!
