Zoara Diamond Advice and Recommendations For Princess Lovers

Q:

Hi Liz,

I’m looking for a princess cut diamond and need some Zoara diamond advice. My budget is $8,500.00 and we are looking for a top quality diamond for our dollar. Can you please provide some recommendations?

Thank you,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I recommend the following:

1.73ct I VS1 for $7,853.00: http://www.zoara.com/diamonds/p_princess_excellent_cut_i_vs1#?p=8637733

This princess cut shows gorgeous brilliance and beautiful symmetrical contrast pattern. This princess was graded by GIA on Nov. 6, 2017 and has four chevrons on the pavilion which makes the scintillation (sparkle) have lots of tiny brilliant lights when moving the diamond. It is perfectly clean with a VS1 clarity grade. The length width ratio is 1.02 which is a nice square outline.

Another option is this beautiful 1.20ct F VS2 for $5,688.00: http://www.zoara.com/diamonds/p_princess_excellent_cut_f_vs2#?p=8679799

This diamond was recently graded by GIA on Nov. 21, 2017. The VS2 clarity is eye-clean and this princess also has four chevrons on the pavilion. The length width ratio of this diamond is 1.01. This diamond offers you three color upgrade while still being eye-clean and is slightly smaller than the first option. However both are beautiful stones.

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions!

Best,

Liz

Hi Liz,

Thanks for the Zoara diamond advice! Both of these princess diamonds are beautiful! Is there anything to be concerned with the I color when planning on setting in white gold/platinum? I was always looking at more colorless diamonds.

Also, unfortunately my budget has to drop a bit so I’m staying under $7K but want to keep the carat weight to around 1.50ct. Can you provide some Zoara diamond advice on the following diamond?:

Thank you,

Hi Mike,

An ideal cut ‘I’ diamond is gorgeously brilliant and faces up bright white. If you are super sensitive you will detect body color from the side view (read: pavilion angle) of the diamond. However, most people do not go this far and do not inspect this deeply. An ‘I’ princess is perfectly suitable for a white gold/platinum white metal setting.

Zoara Diamond Advice

1.53ct J IF princess from Zoara

However, if your preference is to go higher in color then you’ll have to compromise on carat weight.

I have looked at the 1.53ct J IF from Zoara and fully recommend it. This diamond has beautiful light reflection and excellent contrast patterning; little to no light leakage through the pavilion. The diamond is cut well and there are no areas of concern.
